The HOPRS protocol (History, Observation, Palpation, Range-of-Motion and Resistance Testing, and Special tests) is a systematic method for assessing soft tissue injuries. In this course you will apply your clinical evaluation skills in the HOPRS methods to assess and evaluate various soft tissue injury patterns. This course will make you think about injury conditions in totally new ways!
Median Nerve Entrapment
4 CE hours – $48
Median nerve entrapment in the distal upper extremity is one of the most common orthopedic neurological disorders. This course covers detailed anatomy and biomechanics of the two most common median nerve entrapments: carpal tunnel syndrome and pronator teres syndrome. Effective treatment of these conditions requires that the tissues involved are adequately and appropriately addressed. After completion of this course you will have far greater skills and knowledge of how to construct an appropriate treatment strategy.
Foot Pain
4 CE hours – $48
The focus of this online course is evaluating foot pain – particularly tarsal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and Morton’s neuroma. The cause of foot pain is not always straight-forward, and poorly addressed, foot pain can become a chronic, debilitating condition. Successful treatment means addressing the actual tissues involved. Once you have an understanding as to the source of the pain, you can then develop an appropriate treatment strategy.
