DVD 1 NOW FINISHED

Whitney’s first DVD, Lowe’s Orthopedic Massage: Neck, Back, & Pelvis, is now complete!

Note: The DVDs are FREE with the Online courses and we are still running the $100 special for all 3 DVDs.

Testimonials:

“As a former producer, I know how difficult it is to get it all right when you’re shooting instructional content.  Yet, you made it look like you got it in one “take.” So congratulations on a job well done.”  Marilyn K.

“Just wanted to let you know that your DVD is ‘excellent.’ You did an excellent job.  What a great accompaniment to your workshops and the on-line courses. Thank you so much.  I look forward to the other DVDs. BRAVO! Gail R.

We are continuing production on DVD 2 now after some production changes. We have a new editor who is turning out to be a whiz at all of  this and will add even more to this production.

Thanks to all who have purchased the DVDs.

The main specials are over, but you can still benefit from Whitney’s superb training.

We will continue to offer a special price for the online Orthopedic Massage courses until the economy starts to recover. You can still get a package price that offers the certification test for free. And anyone needing both books will continue to benefit from our special price for both.

Check these offers out on the relevant pages (books, continuing education, or DVD) and also in our “Shop” site.

New Format for Online Courses

We are unveiling a brand new look for our Orthopedic Massage 1 (Neck, Back, & Pelvis) course this fall. We have incorporated lots of fascinating video, audio, and graphics to enhance the learner’s experience. For an example of what this may look like come visit the sample course site. Click here for instructions on how to get there. These updates require a great deal of new work so we will only be running Orthopedic Massage 1 this fall and then will unroll the same updates to Orthopedic Massage 2 & 3 when they start in January.

An End To Animal Research?

I recently came across an advertisement for an essay contest in one of my favorite magazines, The New Scientist. The essay contest was asking if science could end the need for animal research. The ad asked: “Can you envisage how advances in technology—perhaps stem cells, tissue engineering or computer modeling—could end the need for animal [...]
